shirtmaxxing began as a Facebook page documenting the strange and fascinating shirts found across Hanoi, Vietnam. While living there, I became obsessed with these bizarre garments—tees bearing corrupted versions of famous company logos, disjointed platitudes, or absolute nonsense text vomited all over the fabric. I hunted them down in every marketplace like a thrifter searching for a hidden gem. The gems I desired weren't conventionally beautiful, but rather delightfully weird and perfectly flawed. Still, there was a profound, accidental beauty to the shirts I uncovered—something effortlessly and unintentionally hilarious.
